2011-2012 Seasonal Trail Permit - $250.00. (Seasonal Trail Permit early buy on or before December 1st - $200) - Can be purchased online.

2011-2012 Classic Permit - $125.00. Can be purchased online or by downloading this Classic Permit Order form.
Included is a listing of “Walk In Locations” where Classic permits can be purchased (copy of the VIN is required prior to purchase). The order form can be printed, completed and mailed or faxed with a copy of the VIN to one of the 17 OFSC District Offices.

  • The Classic Permit allows trail access for the full season and can be purchased online, from an OFSC district office or other designated location.
  • The permit expires May 31st.
  • The permit is valid only in the province of Ontario when affixed to the MTO registered, 15-year or older motorized snowmobile for which it was purchased as identified in the MTO permit application.
  • Sign up for OFSC member benefits when buying this permit.
  • Classic Permit Order Form will be availble for download here (currently under review) and then forwarded to an OFSC Member club and or district office. Please "Buy where you ride" and support your local club. Find your district/club in the district locator.
2011-2012 7 Day Permit - $140.00
  • The 7-Day Trail Permit can be purchased online and/or from any OFSC member clubs or associations.
  • This permit offers the same access to open OFSC Prescribed Trails, it expires seven days after being issued. The full 7 days start the next day if the permit is purchased after 4 PM.

2011-2012 - 3 Day Permit - $100.00
  • The 3-Day Trail Permit may be purchased online and/or from any OFSC member clubs or associations.
  • This permit offers the same access to open OFSC Prescribed Trails, it expires three days after being issued. The full 3 days start the next day if the permit is purchased after 4 PM.
  • Locate your local club in the district locator.
2011-2012 Special Event Permit - $35.00
  • The Special Event Permit is used only for club sanctioned events and may be purchased from the OFSC clubs or associations involved with the special event.
  • The Special Event Permit offers access only for trails during the club event.

2011-2012 Replacement Permits - $10.00
  • If the trail permit is lost, stolen or damaged and needs to be replaced, please contact the vendor snowmobile club or the club, association or district you designated when you purchased online from the OFSC.
  • You must present the original trail permit receipt along with the original permit, or portion thereof. If not available, a police report or police incident number is required for stolen or lost permits.

Permit Placement & Additional Information
  • The Trail Permit is valid only when permanently affixed to the bottom edge of the center of the windshield, or on top and to the left of centre of the engine cowling as close as possible to the centre of the windshield, without obscuring or being obscured by the registration number required to be displayed on the vehicle.
  • OFSC Trail Permits are valid only in the province of Ontario and may be used to access any open or limited Prescribed Trails operated by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs unless otherwise specified above.
